Murphy’s Shirts were designed by former World Champion Sailor Philip McColl, known universally as “Murphy”.

Recognising the need for a mens shirt which could help reduce sweating in highly aerobic activities, such as his own hobby of dancing.

“Murphy” had realised that the thing ladies hated most of all, was to be dancing with a man who was soaking wet with perspiration.

Having noticed men needing to change multiple times in an evening, he set out to design the perfect material.

Many thousands of shirts later, “Murphy’s Shirts” have become a byword for men looking for a shirt which is comfortable to wear.

They never need ironing, they wash and dry very easily, and they feel comfortable to wear.
